Q. What is STEP's experience in the community?

STEP has been operational in the South Tyrone community since 1997 when it was set up to assist the appropriate allocation of funding in the South Tyrone area. It has assisted in the set up and development of a number of organisations including: Community Transport, An Tearmann, Moygashel Community Association, Galbally Community Association. With a wealth of experience over the years in community support for groups and individuals including people with disabilities, women returneers to work, the unemployed, ex prisoners, the travelling community and BME groups, STEP is a forerunner in community development in the local area and across Northern Ireland.

Q. Can STEP help my local community group?

Yes - if your group wishes to seek advice on best practice and to make project links, we are happy to assist you. We can also provide services such as cost efficient room and equipment hire and marketing services.
